Since I know how hard it can be to find just the right flower photo when you're ready to paint, I'll be posting some free flower pictures from time to time, free for artists to use for inspiration or a direct copy if you are so moved. I'd love to see your results if you paint them, and I will post your painting/drawing here if you'd like. There is a good pic of the bloom up close and also the interesting elongated buds have lots of details.

I'll finally be able to work on the cactus painting today. I showed the shabbied frame that I did for the cactus painting to some friends and got a resounding A++ from them. But hey, they are friends, what else are they gonna say!  I'll be posting wip photos of the cactus as I go along.
